Here is a little pen and ink sketch I did once while in Venice, Italy of Basilica di San Marco and dates back to the 11th century and one of the best examples of Italo-Byzantine architecture with a Gothic roofline. I love architecture and this basilica is certainly a very impressive sight well worth documenting in my sketchbook.
