Joplin, Missouri - The Downtown Art Wall is proud to announce the artist/author reception and unveiling for Sean Fitzgibbon on Saturday, February 11th, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Sean's artwork will be on display at the Downtown Art Wall located at 6th & Main in Downtown Joplin, Missouri. The artwork is from his newly release book What Follows is True: Crescent Hotel that explores the stories surrounding the Crescent Hotel’s strange and tragic two years as the Baker Hospital, a Depression Era cancer hospital in Eureka Springs, Arkansas in the late 1930’s.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at Beast & Barrel restaurant located at 530 S. Main Street, Joplin, Missouri, just around the corner from the Art Wall. Sean will have his newly released book available for purchase at Beast & Barrel.
