Baker often spoke of “the medical octopus “. I use surrealism in my art to convey abstract concepts and ideas. Much of my work contains symbolism and iconography inspired by works of the 15th century Northern Renaissance as well as the mysterious, dreamlike aspects gleaned from works by Surrealists such as Paul Delvaux and René Magritte.
